Tinsmiths' Tower and Musketeers' Passage – Sighișoara, Romania © 2014 Peter Marble September 25, 2013 – Our second day in Romania was spent wandering around the ancient citadel of Sighișoara.
The Tinsmiths' Tower has a rectangular base, pentagonal bastion, octagonal facade and hexagonal roof.
The Musketeers' Passage, or Gallery, is a corridor with a wooden roof resting on stone arches that enabled musketeers to travel safely between the Tower and the Tinsmiths' and Tanners' bastions.
